GW18 Missions

To drive scientific research and innovative policy development on climate change and its mitigation science internationally

For the first time in the history of the series, GW18 will focus on bringing the discussion of global warming mitigation to the public by creating a public program based on the feedback of concerned citizens, educators/school teachers and technology innovators. Those interested in learning more about the "green lifestyle" or want to know what new innovations are coming in the next generation of the "green economy" should attend GW18.

Historically, GW represents the oldest and most consistently sustained conference dedicated to the exchange of scientific data, governmental assessments, and public policies concerning global climate change, including global warming and extreme climatic events. GW18 will continue its tradition of providing the highest level scientific program in climate change research.

The GW conference series was created by the GWIC, a non-profit organization of scientists, policy makers, and scholars dedicated to climate change science and mitigation science.

Take action and attend the GW18 conference in 2007!
